Ah. Just as I suspected, ghoulie girl.
I live in Provo which is south of SLC. The
Mormons are actually an interesting people to
live with. They are kind and sheltered and I am
always amazed at their hybrid life of jello molds
and cult rituals. They are astounded by me
because I denounce their god and have not been
struck down (yet). I am constantly under study.
But my work keeps me here. I work with rare,
public, school and private libraries. I am
waiting for a few things to pan out before I
decide to leave this humble commmunity. If all
goes well I should be traveling again and
visiting libraries along the East Coast. If not,
I need to conquer my fear of flannel and get my
ass to Seattle where there is a position at the
University of Washington's library that awaits
me.
If I had spare time I would be drinking and
writing more. Although, I am planning an
L.A./Huntington Beach/San Diego/Vegas vacation
this April.
What was your major in community college? And I'd
like to read some of your memoirs.
