I was walking home through Chinatown late last
night when this old, hunched-over chinaman crept
out of an alley into my path, pointed a jade
statue of one of the lesser buddhas at me, and
said: "You Patlick, yes? You watch out! Vely vely
dangelous!" Soon as he said it, he vanished back
into the shadows, leaving behind only a cloud of
acrid smoke faintly reminiscent of jasmine
incense and opium.
Freakin' me out, man!
