Ahh... the etymological origins of "Chancaca"...
a story not to be shared indiscriminately with
the uncouth masses, for they shall never
appreciate its delicate resonance, its cross-
cultural flavor, enhanced and comoplemented by a
fine glass of sherry and a good Montecristo...
I may consider answering Mr. Patrick's query, but
only if the rest of you also show interest in the
origin of Chancaca...if not, well... "pity!"
